Baker United Methodist Church
Baker Memorial United Methodist Church was founded in St. Charles in 1837. The church building was a gift from Colonel Edward J. Baker in memory of his parents, Martha and Edward Baker. It was dedicated on Sept. 19, 1954.
United Methodists have long devoted themselves to a kind of marriage of personal and social holiness, leading today to a denomination that is dynamic and diverse, bound together in our mission to “Make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.”
United Methodists are committed to basic beliefs of Christianity, and use Scripture, tradition, experience and reason to guide us in our beliefs and lives.
AMI is grateful to have the honor of holding music classes at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church.
