Kaitlin Fron – Voice & Piano
Kaitlin Fron, soprano, received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Millikin University and her Master of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Iowa. Most recently, she has performed with Opera Breve as Emmie (Albert Herring) and Opera Birmingham as a nun (Suor Angelica). She currently cantors at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Previous roles include Amelia (Amelia Goes To the Ball), Flora (The Turn of the Screw), and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte). She has also appeared as many princesses, fairies, and mermaids through My Enchanted Forest. She is an alumna of the Red Mountain Theatre Company and the Midwest Young Artist Program.
Kaitlin is passionate about helping children discover their singing and creative voices and helping to instill confidence and compassion through process-oriented study. She aims for students to appreciate the voices they had yesterday, listen to voices they might have tomorrow, but always sing with the voices they have today.
