Grace Canfield – Voice & Piano

Soprano Grace Canfield received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Juilliard School where she sang the role of Nerina in Haydn’s La fedelta premiata and the roles of Pastourelle/Le chatte in L’enfant et les sortileges. Ms. Canfield was featured at Lincoln Center Jazz in Wayne Shorter; the Early Years and has sung in Urbania, Italy, appearing as Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore under the direction of Benton Hess. She studied at the Chautauqua Voice School from 2012-2015 and made a cameo appearance in Castleton Opera’s Seven Deadly Sins under the baton of the late Lorin Maazel. In 2011 Ms. Canfield was awarded 1st place in Chicago NATS, and the following year she placed 2 nd in the Hal Leonard and American Prize competitions.
