Job Responsibilities
- Part-time Position
- Admin duties – 4-8hrs per week
- Optional teaching
- Participate in the observation and evaluation of faculty
- Help with artistic decisions as they relate to performances, programing, curriculum, etc
- Optional Teaching – high-quality instruction to beginning through advanced students in the following programs at AMI, College Faculty Program, Mini Campus, Camp, & AYSO
- Partner with other Chairs and/or Directors for other Programs
- Timely and professional correspondence with Program Managers, managing directors, and partnering administrators
- Collaborate with parents, staff and teachers
- Participate in the hiring of faculty
- Serve as an ambassador for AMI and aid in student recruitment
- Work to facilitate programs through AMI’s Mini Campus Program and AYSO Clinics & Masterclasses
- Public & private school visits – schedule & perform clinics, network with music teachers & other influencers
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- College level teaching experience
- Performance experience at high level
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative and be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to build strong rapport with faculty, administrating, students and parents
- Experience in recruitment, retention, marketing, networking, management, hiring, and social media
- Highly motivated
Education Required
- Master of Music or DMA
