David Brian Vrablic – Clarinet / Sax / Flute / Oboe
David Brian Vrablic received his Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance from Western Illinois University. David studied under the instruction of Eric Ginsberg and was trained in techniques that were acquired under his predecessor Kal Opperman, with a focus on the refinement of classical pedagogy, detailed implementation of fundamental techniques as well as the advanced practices in methods enhancing tone production, virtuosity and musical expression. His methods for individual instruction is the culmination of a variety of techniques that he researched through continued private instruction, as well as in performance opportunities and masterclasses with several mainstream clarinet performers from and/or associated with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. David performs has performed with Wheaton Municipal Band, Moraine Valley Community College Concert Band and Orchestra, Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra, West Suburban Orchestra, Southwest Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Wind Symphony, selected to perform at the 2023 International Clarinet Association’s annual Clarinet Fest. David has most recently been under the instruction of Patrick Rehker with whom he’s continued to pursue and research advanced methods and techniques and is concentrating on private instruction and professional development in classical clarinet performance for young students and adults.
