Daniel Gómez – Guitar / Ukulele / Piano
Daniel Gómez received his Bachelor’s of music from Northeastern University and his Master of music from DePaul University where he graduated with distinction, both in guitar performance. In addition he has performed in many master classes for classical guitarists such as: David Russel, Denis Azabajic, Eliot Fisk, Elena Papandreou, etc. Daniel also has studied deeply latin music with Chilean Master Alfonzo Chacon. He was part of the guitar quartet “Los guitarristas”, directed by Maestro Chacon. He has also studied privately with the Argentinian Master Nestor Gomez, and Peruvian Masters Pepe Torres, Andres Prado, and Coco Linares. Daniel have been an active performer in the Midwest since 2006. He has played as a soloist as well as in different formats (duos, trios, quartets, etc)several styles of music in many festivals such as: Wold Music Fest, Pilsen Music Fest, Waukegan Music Fest, Colombian Fest, Cuban Fest, Peruvian Fest, etc. Daniel is a bilingual (Spanish) teacher with more than 15 years of experience. He can teach Guitar, Ukulele, Electric Bass, Piano, Music Theory.
