Mission

American Music Institute is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and our fundamental mission is to provide high standards of music education to all student’s in all instrument’s, levels, ages, and styles of music. Our principle objective is to preserve the cultural art of music education and music performance for the future generations of the American society.
AMI’s main campus is located in beautiful Clarendon Hills and St. Charles, Illinois. AMI is the Chicago-land’s leading private pre-collegiate music school specializing in high quality music education and professional music performance. AMI offers a variety of programs to all students, in all disciplines of music – for all ages, levels and styles of music. We are always expanding our satellite locations for music lessons in the suburbs throughout the Chicago area – contact us at AMI@amimusic.org for a list of new locations offered. Programs

AMI offers a variety of programs, from beginning-level classes for both children and adults, to advanced-level programs. Community concerts and open recitals are offered throughout the year, as well as free music seminars in local community centers. The Conservatory Program is an audition-only program, focusing on the highest standards of playing and encouraged for serious-minded students. Additionally, AMI offers Master Classes featuring esteemed soloist’s and performers. Seasonal events, such as the AMI Summer Music Camp & AMI Holiday Concert Series, are offered throughout the year, and are a great way to keep young musicians active! Private Music Lessons are offered on all instruments in a variety of different styles of music. Private lessons are a great way to develop sophisticated playing skills for students of all levels and ages. AMI also has a Suzuki Education Program for violin, viola, cello, and piano.
