Silvia Suarez – Violin / Piano

Silvia Suarez is an active educator and performer in the Chicago area. She completed her master’s degree at Lynn University under the tutelage of world-renowned violinist Elmar Oliveira. She then went on to complete post-Master’s studies with Ilya Kaler at DePaul University. Silvia has taught in private and group settings for many years and currently holds teaching positions at prestigious institutions around Chicago. In addition to teaching, she performs with The Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago, Northbrook Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony, among others. In past summers, she has participated in various music festivals such as The National Repertory Orchestra, Meadowmount School of Music, and Bowdoin International Music Festival.
