Danielle Giulini – Violin/Viola/Piano
Originally from Switzerland, violinist Danielle Giulini came to America to continue her musical education at age 20. She graduated with distinction from Northern Illinois University (BA) and DePaul University (MA) where she studied with Mathias Tacke and Janet Sung as her primary teachers. At home she studied violin and piano at the Zürich conservatory since age 6. She was a prizewinner of the national solo youth competition and the international chamber music competition and performed with the Swiss and German University orchestra throughout the world. Currently she is a member of Camerata Chicago and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago where she gets to collaborate with world renowned conductors and musicians such as Yo-Yo Ma. Besides focusing on her own studies, Danielle has also spent time teaching others. She has taught students of all ages and levels at the NIU community school and privately. While violin is her primary instrument she also teaches Piano and Viola.
