American Music Institute's mission is to provide a high level of music education to all student's in all instruments, levels, ages, and styles of music. Our principle objective is to preserve the cultural art of music education and music performance for the future generations of the American society.


AMI is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to high quality music education and professional music performance throughout the Chicago-land community. AMI also hosts a variety of educational programs including our Private Lesson Program, Group Class Program, Preparatory Program, Conservatory Program, Music and Developmental Therapy Program, Early Childhood Education Program and the our professional orchestra, the AMI Philharmonic Orchestra.
